French Chic Bridal Photoshoot

I'm constantly looking for ideas for photoshoots and the excuse to showcase real talent in the wedding industry.  I recently met with Emily from Soon to be Pinned at a wedding fayre.  She designs and creates brooch and button bouquets.  I was blown away by them...they were truly stunning.  We then got onto the subject of photoshoots.  We were keen to do something a little quirky and with the help of Timeless Table and Mooshki, who are also showcased in the shoot, we came up with a French Chic themed shoot set in a stunning room at Marco Polo's Restaurant in Darlington.  The dresses are from Mooshki's brand new 2013 collection.

These images will shortly feature on my new wedding photography website - www.memoriesandemotions.co.uk

A massive thank you to the management at Marco Polo's for allowing us to use their restaurant on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Sally and Den's Wedding - Holy Trinity Church, Darlington and Blackwell Grange Hotel, Darlington

After carefully watching the weather forecast over the days leading up to Sally and Den's wedding, I was relived to wake up on the day itself to see beautiful blue skies.  Although slightly nippy, it wasn't a bad day at all.  1 hour and 30 miles later, it was a different story.  I could see the wall of cloud as I was heading down the A1(M).  So we were faced with freezing temperatures and regularly heavy snow flurries.

The weather did not spoil the day though.  Sally and Den were, or certainly appeared to be, so relaxed, smiles permanently spread across their faces.  And their respective son's Michael and Michael were hilarious before the wedding, joking about and generally having fun.  This was the story of the day.

It was such a joy to capture the day for Sally and Den.  I just wish I had managed to get photos of them with Linda Lusardi (it's a long story.....).

Have a great honeymoon guys!!
